Yes , I got a Titanic recocord , it was chipped but not into the playing area , apparantly the EMG howardhope found it in the garage but knocked it over s'why the chip but it was £5 , there are thousands of 78s there ,

My first copy of that had a wopping great chip out of the edge and cost me 50p. Does yours play all the way through? mine did. That was quite a while ago when I bought it though.

i found a copy for 10p last week at a car boot record dealers are rip off merchants especially in london

went back this morning and bought 10 all different Joe Loss records fro £15 was this too much ? And had soem George Robey records should I have bought them ?

Joe Loss had a good band, but his records are almost impossible to give away!
I do like him pre about 1945 though. Same with a lot of the dance bands, Mantivani of that period is a fave of mine.
