1920s dance and pop played on the hmv 109

Post by rgodridge » Wed Aug 16, 2017 6:56 pm

Here I play some 1920s dance band and pop records on a hmv 109 gramophone, records ranging from 1921 to 1927. The last record I didn't know what it was at the time, but looking through my files I found it and it is a rare one!
the records:
hmv b2541 the revellers - the blue room/Johnny Marvin in a shady nook (not Austin as I stated in error)
hmv b1935 savoy orpheans - out of a million
hmv b1297 EUBIE BLAKE SHUFFLE ALONG ORCHESTRA Baltimore buzz (intro in honeysuckle time)/Bandana days (intro: I'm just wild about harry)

I'm a bit busy sorting out my wife's visa for much in the way of gramophonic stuff lately!
