just got given a collection with an interesting item

has anyone else ever had this happen? I was just given a collection... the guy emailed me, said his elderly neighber had hundreds of 78s and they needed them out, quite a lot of early records, nothing too exciting yet... I have less than half of the collection, he'll bring the rest another day, but ...

well we're getting plenty of visiters, which means I'm getting plenty of traphic, which means because of my wanted adds I'm getting plenty of good records...
but yeah it's quiet.

Joe Loss had a good band, but his records are almost impossible to give away!
I do like him pre about 1945 though. Same with a lot of the dance bands, Mantivani of that period is a fave of mine.
