This is a really great hot dance record, I got this from ebay for less than £1 and just finished restoring it. the violin and guitar work is so great that I thought it could be venuti and lang... does anyone know who is featured here?

Here's my restoration of the charleston. I'm quite happy with this! I know this is out there on quite a lot of cds but the spoken announcement is not, and I tried to keep the original sound... Not the best copy but I've wanted it for so long I don't care!

a recording of Haydn on a 1790s piano, from 1928! the recording I mean obviously.
This was on the back of a 3 disc set of which I only had 2, so nearly didn't keep it but I'm glad I did! Wonderful, very different sounding instrument.

I love this and am delighted with the sound I got out of it, to me this is mid 30s hi fidelity! Marek Weber's orchestra play a selection from the chocolate soldier in I believe 1935.
